About Us

At Byerly Aviation our commitment to our customers comes first

Byerly Aviation is a privately owned, full-service FBO with a world-class maintenance operation, paint shop, avionics shop, parts sales, aircraft sales, aircraft management, charter, and ground support equipment sales and refurbishments. We have a state-of-the-art facility and expert staff ready to support you, your aircraft operations, and your passengers.

Our History

Millard Byerly began Byerly Aviation near Peoria in the 1930s to fuel his aviation passion. An early barnstormer, he quickly grew the business to include flight instruction, and later, aircraft sales. Over the decades Byerly has sold most single-engine models, and in the 1950s, expanded into Twin Commander sales and service.

Today Byerly’s grandson, Bruce, is still responsible for aircraft sales, and the business has expanded to include a full range of general aviation services. But what has remained is our commitment to the customer’s needs. We strive to provide great service at a fair price., with a promise to try and do the job right the first time.

Today’s Byerly

Byerly’s grandson, Bruce, continues building relationships one at a time with an expanding full range of aviation service business. Listening, and developing solutions to client needs is our commitment. Delivering those solutions safely and with the highest value is our tradition.
